Just a few random thoughts...

Isn't it great when something good happens? And isn't it even better when it's something you didn't expect?

I guess I just realized that preconceived notions aren't really a good thing. I mean, you think you know how someone is, or you have a certain opinion of them, and then something happens that makes you totally change your whole view of them. They do something that just really surprises you.

And it's wonderful! It makes me wonder what would happen if I let myself be open to see people differently more often. Hmm...

Anyway, we have another busy week planned. Today, we visited with my brother. We had a great time, we hung out outside and chatted. Rick mostly just chased his daughter around. They had fun!

Tomorrow were headed to the park, and I have shopping I HAVE to do!

I talked to my friend Beth today, and we are taking the kids swimming on Wednesday. It's her son Bobby's birthday, and he wanted to go swimming & they invited us to come along! :)

Then Friday is her bachelorette party!

Saturday, we are going to a cookout.

Sunday, church!!! I didn't get to go last weekend, so I really wanna go this Sunday!

Busy, huh?!

Last night after the kids were in bed, I went downstairs and scrapbooked! I did a page that I LOVE! I really need to make more time to scrap.

I don't really have anything specific to blog about, so I'll just share some recent pictures!


My husband is so silly sometimes! He's always making me laugh! We recently went on a walk downtown, and he kept making fun of me for taking so many pictures! Then he saw this statue thing, and posed for me! He's so silly! I love his sense of humor!

I LOVE this picture of Micah! Those big brown eyes make me melt! But look at that mosquito bite on his head!! It's weird, whenever he gets bit by a mosquito, it gets huge!! Hmm.... But he's still such a cutie!

And here is my Mr. Serious! Sometimes I think he's had enough of my picture taking, but other times he's the one asking me to get out the camera!

Oh Isabella! She must've been thirsty! I looked over after we turned the water off, and she was helping herself to a nice long drink of water! Silly girl!

Prayers Please

Keith's mom is in the hospital. She had a mild heart attack. They are keeping her for now, and will be doing more tests. We visited her tonight, but couldn't stay long because she was still in the ER waiting on a room. Please pray for her.

I *LOVE* my new camera!

Micah is in that stage where any time he sees the camera pointed at him, he gets that fake "cheese" smile that you see in his picture! But I still think it's too cute!

Okay, so here's what we did this weekend! Friday, Keith & the kids & I went to the mall. We shopped, and then had dinner there. The kids & I ordered a whole pizza from Sbarros. It was awesome! Keith had chinese because he is the only one who likes it, and he doesn't eat it often. It was really a lot of fun - a nice family night.

Saturday was BUSY! We hung out at home in the morning. Then we were supposed to go shopping at Steve & Barry's. We ended up not going because mom was really tired. So we went to K-mart, Big Lots, Meijer, and Kroger instead.

Then we went home, and the guys went to the Thunder Nationals. Micah, Isabella, mom and I went to Walmart. I was looking for new bedding for the boys, and Meijer had theirs on sale for $32.00 each, but all they had was Spongebob. Walmart had Nemo, Spongebob, & Spiderman but theirs were $34 each. I let Micah pick them out, and he picked Spongebob! So they got new bedding & pillows for their toddler beds! Here's a picture of it taken from Walmart's website:

Anyway, after that, we went home and hung out. Then Sunday morning we woke up and got ready and went to Steve & Barry's. It was awesome! I got some REALLY cute clothes there! I love their stuff! It's mostly athletic, like jerseys and stuff. I ended up getting 2 pairs of jeans, a pair of shoes, and quite a few other things.

Then for the rest of the day we went to a birthday party for my cousin. It was SO fun!! I got some really cute pictures! When we came home, I was getting my clothes out of the bags and I put them on the couch. Mom was at the computer, and I looked over at one of the zip up hoodie jackets I got. It says PITTSBURGH on it. Now, the reason I got it is because as we were leaving, I realized I had a pair of navy blue pants, and nothing to match them.So I see the grey jacket with Pittsburgh in Navy. I had no clue what team played in Pittsburgh. But hey, it matched, so I bought it!

Anyway, I look over at the jacket, and it looked funny. I told my mom that I felt like it was the couch potato all over again. (I'll explain later) She looked at the jacket & started laughing too. We thought it was funny that Pittsburgh was spelled wrong!

I decided I was going to return the jacket. I mean, grammar & spelling are usually my thing. I always notice when people mix up your and you're. No way would I walk around wearing a jacket that said Pittsburgh. Everyone knows it's really Pittsburg. Who thought there was an H on the end?

So Keith walked in the room, and asked what was so funny. I pointed to the jacket, and he said "hey, they spelled it wrong!" By then, I had decided to just keep the jacket. It reminded me of the couch potato, and it still matched the navy pants!

Fast forward to this morning-- I get online, and I'm just checking out 2peas, and there it is: the word Pittsburgh. Yep, with a H on the end. So I googled it. Pittsburgh. When did that happen? Since when do you spell Pittsburgh with a H? I guess it must have happened overnight, because we were all 3 sure that it was just Pittsburg last night. Oh well, I feel better now knowing that my jacket has the correct spelling!

It's Friday!

Yipee! It's the weekend! We were going to take the kids swimmming today, but we decided to wait until Monday. The reason we decided to wait is because the kids don't have bathing suits that fit. So instead, we will probably go shopping!

I love adding pictures for everyone to see, but I don't have many on the computer right now. I haven't filled up my new 1G memory card on my new camera yet, so I don't have any pics with my new camera either! So here is a picture of Isabella having a snack. (Just kidding!) She LOVES to get into Baxter's dog food, and yes, she eats it. I have to fight her to get it out of her mouth sometimes. You'd think it would be yuck, and she'd spit it out, but she likes it! Gross, I know, but I just had to take pics!!

Pink eye!

My mom has pink eye! Her eye looks pretty bad, and it's really bothering her! I hope none of the kids get it, and I hope she gets better quickly.

Here are the weekend plans!! Ricky and Keith are taking Jackson & Marcus to the monster truck thing Saturday. I am not sure if Marcus will like it or not, but I'm sure he will have fun. I really want to be able to take some pictures this weekend too!

I put Isabella's hair in pigtails today! It was SO cute! I took some pictures, but they aren't on the computer yet! I'll have to post them later!

Beth invited me to a scrapbook day, and I really would like to go. I'm sure I probably will. She also said she'd like to get together. I've been meaning to go see her for a while now. I'd love to see Bobby & her family. Her family is great! We use to be really close. We've had lots of fun times together. I really should keep in touch with her more!

Look how big!

My baby girl is getting so big! She is walking a little, and eating almost all of the same foods as her brothers! It seems like just yesterday she was a brand new baby! She still doesn't sleep through the night though!

I can't believe that in less than 3 months she's gonna be 1! She's quickly becoming a toddler, and my baby days are gonna be gone! Mom has been teaching the kids sign language, and she can already sign milk. Marcus is pretty good at it. He always signs "more cookies please!" It's too cute! Well, it's late, I'm tired, so I'm off to bed. Goodnight!

What a week!

Well, Micah is finally better. He's not completely back to normal, but he's close. I'm so glad! It was strange, he wouldn't walk for a few days because his bottom was hurting. Then when he finally decided to get up and walk, I was so excited! It was like he was taking his first steps ever! It was great to see him getting better!

Well, I have a new camera!! I am SO excited about it! I LOVE itwith the automatic settings, but I can't wait to be able to use it manually!I can't wait to take some pics with it!

We went to the mall today, and it was really fun! I didn't buy much, just a pair of pants and 2 shirts for the kids. Keith got a pair of shoes and a few shirts. We might just be going to the mall again tomorrow!Well, I'm off to learn more photography stuff!

My Poor Micah

I was so sure that he was almost all better this morning! I just knew he would feel better today. Boy was I wrong! He had a horrible day! He didn't eat anything except a few cheetos and a popsicle. He had Sprite, water, & milk to drink. And again, nothing stayed down. I really hope he feels better tomorrow! Please say a prayer for him!

It's Valentine's day!

Well, today is valentine's day. Keith wrote me a short poem this morning. We never celebrate Valentine's day, but it was really sweet.

I am hoping to take a photography class soon. I love photography, and I'd really like to improve my pictures. Hopefully soon I'll have a new camera to practice with!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARCUS!

Wow! What a week! Micah & Isabella started out with ear infections, and now Micah has a fever, and can't keep anything down. Isabella is really fussy, but she doesn't have a fever.

Yesterday was Marcus's birthday! He was so excited! All week he had been saying that he was going to let Micah open one of his presents. I thought he would change his mind when it came time to open them, but he didn't. He actually let Micah open 2 of them. I can't believe he's already 4!

She's growing!

I know she looks so tiny, but to me she is getting so big! She is already starting to stand on her own for a few seconds. She hasn't quite figured out how to take a step though! She gets into everything! She loves to play with the boys, and they are SO protective of her. It's too cute!
